With chapters in all 50 states, Project Linus collects and distributes blankets to children in hospitals, shelters, social service agencies, or anywhere that a child might be in need of a big hug. Project Linus provides love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer “blanketeers.”
LL Students will work with a representative from Project Linus to make a no-sew fleece blanket, while learning about the organization and enjoying some hot chocolate and cookies, while they work!

Thanks Jamie Gordon for coordinating the coat drive! We are thrilled to announce that 75 coats were donated and will keep fellow New Yorkers warm this winter!
Our December project was truly a wonderful and humbling experience. Lower Lab students helped set tables, decorate cupcakes, and serve over 100 guests at the Holy Trinity Church Saturday Supper. We ended the night singing Holiday songs for the group!
If you missed this event but are interested in volunteering please call Erlinda Brent – Holy Trinity Church to schedule a date. (212)289-4100 ext 201.
