Dear Lower Lab Community,
As the year 2015 comes to an end we should reflect on everything that is Lower Lab – the dedicated teachers and staff, the committed families and the fabulous children! Since September, we celebrated a great deal of hard work, NDI, Fall Fair, the Blood Drive, the Halloween Bash, the opening of the Digital Media Center and so much more. In the past few days, we’ve had several fabulous publishing parties. One of my favorite moments was when the parent of a kindergartener said, after hearing her child read her newly published story, “ she couldn’t read or write a few days ago and now look at what she can do!” Every day, the students of Lower Lab make their teachers, their parents and ME very, very proud.
Now let us take the time we have off to relax, rejuvenate and celebrate with our loved ones. If you are in a warm, sunny place collect some shells together, if you are in a cold, frosty place have a hot chocolate together. Children grow up fast, and time spent together is the best way to enjoy them.
Thank you for all your generosity and support. I promise you that 2016 will be an amazing year for the Lower Lab Community.
Here’s to a healthy and happy holiday season! I look forward to everyone’s return to school on January 4th.
