PS 198 & Lower Lab 4th Annual
INTERNATIONAL NIGHT

Thank you all very much for participating in International Night 2016!! This wonderful community event would never be possible without YOUR participation and support. From the colorful costumes and engaging activities, to the delicious and intricate dishes that were donated, this event is a celebration of our families and the legacy and traditions of our two schools.

Every year we continue to grow and add new activities, thank you all for taking us up on the challenge.  This year we added new sponsors and community partners like The Catalyst Foundation, which helps stop human trafficking in Vietnam.  We also engaged our community with our first Family Heritage Survey.  Thank you to our Parent Coordinator, Gina Goodman, for compiling all responses in this beautiful mural.  Please make sure to see it past the Main Office if you happen to be in the school these days.  Here is a selection of the many heart felt testimonials we received that showcase the richness and diversity of our community.

Did you feel the magic of International Night? It is not too early to get involved for next year…Lab parent, and PS77 chair of International Night, Marta Molina Seal is a 5th grade parent. It would be a loss to our “global village” were this beautiful event to go away next year as our co-chairs from Lower Lab and PS 198 move on.  Please volunteer to keep the tradition going!”
