In addition to the Blackboard Awards, one of the wonderful things that New York Family does for local families is to sponsor free and helpful Camp Fairs (with the American Camp Assoc) – and one of the biggest Fairs of the year is this Saturday, April 9 on the Upper East Side.
We hope you will consider sending an email blast to your parents about this Saturday’s Camp Fair.
Because the event is free and ACA sponsored—and mostly because it’s a helpful, convenient service for parents—many neighborhood schools help spread the word. In my experience, families really appreciate it.

Discover dozens of day camps and sleepaway camps at the New York Family Camp Fair coming up this weekend on the Upper East Side: Saturday, April 9, 12-3pm. Camp fairs are informative, free, and fun for the whole family. These are the largest camp fairs in NYC, offering families the unique opportunity to speak with a big host of camp directors and get essential questions answered: What kinds of camps are right for my child? Should my child go to day camp in the city or out of the city? Is my child ready for sleepaway camp? Should we look at general camps or specialty camps? The camp fairs are sponsored with the American Camp Association-NY/NJ. For information and registration: newyorkfamily.com
