Please join us for some chess fun!

Our event is open to all girls, rated and unrated, from all schools in Grades K – 6.

There will be a Beginners section for unrated young players that know how pieces move, but may not understand all the rules to provide our girls an opportunity to enter the exciting world of tournament chess. Trophies will be awarded to all Beginners.

USCF ID# is required for rated players but not for Beginners.

We will use Quads format, which means that children will be in groups of four, based on their grade, playing experience and/or rating. Each child will play three games with the other three girls in the group.

Due to space limitations, we can only accept registrations from the first 52 girls and there will be a waitlist if we are over capacity, so please don’t wait to register. You will receive email confirmation to confirm your registration and must check in by 9:45 am on the date of the tournament.

Entry fee is $40 payable on line in advance of the tournament and includes pizza for each player.

Please register and pay using this link: http://bit.ly/2mjIVUA

Adult supervision is required. Food and beverages will be available to parents to purchase.

Please direct any questions to: Lower Lab Chess: lowerlabchess@gmail.com
