Since Spring Break, a lot has been happening here at Lower Lab (certainly as usual – but I thought I’d share). Children in all grades are busy finishing up projects, writing in many genres, debating, practicing for the Orchestra Concert on May 16th and getting ready for the BIG Science Fair on June 12th. Thankfully, our upper grade students are also finished with their state math exams.
Many trips are planned across the grades as well, including our fabulous overnight to Rocking Horse Ranch for our 5thgrade and a day trip to Philadelphia for our 4thgraders. Middle School acceptances are in and our 5thgraders did very well, with 96% getting their first or second choice district school.
You are probably well aware how awesome the weather has been and Lower Lab students have been absolutely gleeful outside this week, in spite of the construction scaffolding. This project is well underway with completion expected by summer’s end.
Our next Lower Lab Values assembly is next Friday morning – during which we celebrate our learning around Courtesy. Stay tuned for the “color” to be announced on Wednesday.
Enjoy the outdoors, and always, Live…Love…Lab!
