The Lower Lab Afterschool program is sponsored by the PTA and organized by parent volunteers with 2 semesters per year. There are 5 – 6 classes offered daily with coverage until 5pm on all full days of school.  On-site supervision is provided by Lower Lab teacher assistants.  Classes are taught by outside vendors and Lower Lab staff.   Pick-up is from school or an off-site location by 5pm, and there is no busing home.  COME PLAY WITH US!   Contact us with questions at llafterschool@gmail.com

The Lower Lab PTA runs an afterschool program. Class options vary by semester and may include: Chess, Robotics, Computer Science, Sports, Hip Hop Dance, Mad Science, Newspaper, and DramaZone. The offerings change by semester. There is no after-school busing; therefore, parents or other adults, who are authorized by parents, must pick up students. The Beacon Program is a free program that services both schools and is available to all students in the building between three- five days per week concluding at 6:00 pm.  Our parents also take advantage of afterschool programs at 92nd Street Y.
